3 weeks of absolute fun!

Today i am feeling the heat in Vancouver! hit 30 degrees here today, and its only 1pm in the afternoon!

Sorry i havent been posting in a long time, had work, and with my parents gone i wasnt on the computer that much!

i was spending time with some old friends of mine, which has been great for me considering these are the girls i went to high school with! we had a fun girls night by going to 7-11 and buying junk food, and pop and watching the notebook and other romantic girlie movies and cried! it was an awesome night to just hang around and be a young teenager!

of course while my parents were gone, me and my old sister (on the right) got to hit up some nice clubs in vancouver for the first time (we never have time to go) and one of them which as you can see by the background we went to celebrities night club! amazing time we had, music was awesome! people went crazy! my first club ever! yes i know being 19 and all i should of gone to so many clubs, but i dont have much time for that. The dress im wearing in this photo was from sirens, which was only 15$, strapless, white, perfect club wear! specially when it gets hot and sweaty in there!

and of course i cant forget my night at Pop Opera night club with my legal friends from college! This picture wasnt taken at Pop Opera but taken at a different club we went to after called Gorgomish night club! the club is set up like an apartment, but there is no windows so you cant even see the sun or the outside! pretty crazy! the outfit im wearing in this picture was also from sirens (as you can see, i like shopping there because of there cheap prices) that entire outfit was under 30$ which was awesome! the shirt was my favorite because its ripped at the back and very open which is the style i see girls wear not only for clubs but hot days like today! the two other people in the picture are friends of mine from college.

of course going out means i spend money which i did, so now im taking a break from going out and trying to work more at my job and spend time with the family! As for going out tonight? LOL well lets see if i can ;) (probably not!)

Throwback to the 80's

Today i decided to talk about 80's fashion. I personally wasn't born in the 80's though i really wish i was because the fashion was so awesome! I love the 80's clothing in general.

This pictures were from weheartit.com which sucks because these look like more like a modern time clothing, but i would love to actually see pictures from the 80's fashion magazines.

Proms Coming Up

So since i am dating someone who is 17, and his grad is coming up soon, i decided to do a post on prom/grads. I mean what better way to kick off this blog then to talk about the top 10 best days a girl has. Were talking makeup, hair, the date and lets not forget the most important thing of all... the dress.
For me personally i was so crazy about grad i wanted the perfect date, the perfect dress and the best day ever.

Anyone that knows me knows i went to 2 grads so far. Of course there will not be a number 3 since my boyfriend cannot take me to his.

This is from 2011 when i went to grad with my ex boyfriend. It was a long poofy zippered style dress, had purple straps but could be removed(size 4) and the tag says "flirt" by Maggie Sorterro. Beautiful dress, but that day in july was hot i remember i fainted in it. I topped it off with curly hair, and some black zippered flats. No heals for this grad.

This was my dress for my grad. It was a navy blue "mermaid dress" strapless, (size 6). the dress is designed to be shortened if wanted to, i topped it off with having my hair half up and half curly with some sliver jewelry my mom let me borrow and a silver little purse and my shoes were sparkly flats. The tag was ripped off so i do not remember who designed the dress but it was gorgeous to wear, so comfortable and i didn't faint!

I want to know what the type of style it will be for grade 2013, and i did a bit of research and looked at some cute grad dresses that will be seeing around downtown vancouver! The type of style this year is looking like the short maxie dress style which i find awesome!

Favorite Designers

Coach has to be one of my favorite designers, i am not to sure why but ever since i started working at turnabout i found myself liking this brand.

I have been seeing young adults with coach bags or sunglasses and shoes more than any other brands. I feel like coach is targeted to the young adults and that's why i feel i like coach because you see so many young girls walking around with coach labels.

Trends for Young Adults

Summer is finally around the corner, and i am so excited to finally pull out some of my summer dresses, and start hitting the beach!

Of course here in vancouver the weather isnt always nice and pretty! But when it does i love to throw on my favorite summer dress and go out shopping!

This picture was taken last summer, i am wearing a poke a dot 2 piece bathing suit! Beautiful weather in Vancouver that summer! It hit almost 16 degrees here which to some people might not be hot, but in vancouver it means summer has arrived!

One of my favorite summer dresses that im wearing right now is my orange Bar III dress! its a long maxie dress with a cut part on the side to let ur leg show which makes it sexy i feel! strapless and its so comfortable to wear!

I heard these dresses were in style right now, but i wouldn't really call them dresses since its a pink high skirt and a black strapless shirt, it cute i personally like it!

Hi my name is Beth, and this is my blogger blog! I have decided to finally post on this blog because i havent had time to, and with 4 months off of school, this is a great time to create a blog of my own. I do however have a tumblr account, but i would like to post some fashion stuff on here!

Im 19 years old, Currently in college, and i work at a fashion store which has gotten me more interested in fashion. Im starting to know famous desingers that i never thought existed! I love seeing something that isnt precious to someone and making it beautiful.

Currently dating right now, going out for 6 months now pretty amazing, we have our ups and downs but we always work through it like couples should. Were both Portuguese which is awesome, and we are interested in the same things! :)
